“NCR Forest for the Planet” — Expanding Green Spaces at Bang Kachao
The management and employees of N.C.R. Rubber Industry Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Suwat Boonbandansuk, Managing Director, joined hands with the Royal Forest Department and Wat Chak Daeng, Samut Prakan, to organize a tree-planting and plastic recycling activity under the project “NCR Forest for the Planet” on September 26, 2025.
NCR continues to prioritize increasing green areas in Bang Kachao, Samut Prakan, following last year’s efforts in Plot No. 28222. This year’s activity focused on nurturing the young trees previously planted by employees and installing a drip irrigation system to ensure sustainable tree growth.
In addition, the management and employees participated in a learning session on the recycling process and donated plastic bottles collected and sorted within the company. These bottles will be recycled and repurposed by Wat Chak Daeng, Samut Prakan. NCR also contributed its own products to support the temple’s ongoing environmental efforts.
This activity reflects NCR’s commitment to restoring the ecosystem of Bang Kachao, often referred to as the “Green Lung of Bangkok,” and to promoting plastic waste segregation and recycling awareness. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing NCR’s dedication to sustainability and giving back to society.
